Chapter 361: Sabrina’s Confession
Chapter 361: Sabrina’s Confession
[ At Williams Residence... ]
Dominique stood frozen in his spot. He blinked multiple times as he could hardly believe that Sabrina showed up in the mansion.
She was supposed to marry Vladimir today. But here she was, hugging him tightly.
"Sab... why? W-Why did you come here?" He asked her once more. His voice cracked with disbelief.
Meanwhile, Sabrina tightened her grip on his body. "I’m here because of you, Dom."
’I need to stop you...’ she added in her thoughts.
Tears welled up in the corners of her eyes. If she arrived too late, Dominique and Alfonso’s family would already be gone.
She didn’t regret coming here.
"Dom, listen to me. This is not the right way to get the justice you want for your family. Please give me that detonator. Your parents and your sister won’t be happy about this." She tried her best to convince Dominique.
Conflicting emotions flickered in his eyes. Earlier, he had already made up his mind to die with Alfonso. This was the only way to end his misery.
But now, he couldn’t possibly activate the bombs, especially if Sabrina was by his side.
He stayed still, his hand holding the detonator.
"I’m sorry, Sab. You shouldn’t have seen this..." He lowered his gaze, fear and regret reflecting in his eyes.
"Are you afraid of me? Do I look like a monster to you?"
Dominique broke the hug and gently pushed her away as he stepped back, distancing himself from Sabrina.
Sabrina shook her head frantically in response.
"No, Dom! I’m not afraid of you. You are not a monster."
However, Melody interrupted them by letting out a sarcastic laugh.
"Don’t console him, Sabrina! He is a devil! Look at what he did to us... to my parents and to me. You can see clearly. That man is a devil incarnate! He is a ruthless monster, Sab! So, if I were you, I would stay away from him. Your decision to leave him was the best decision in your life!"
Melody continued provoking and insulting Dominique. She was no longer afraid because Sabrina was with them. Dominique would never let the bomb explode while Sabrina was inside the house.
"Just shut up, Mel!" Sabrina yelled at her.
"Sab, she is right. Just turn away and don’t look back. I have to finish this myself. This has nothing to do with you. Please, Sab... just leave..."
"No, I’m not leaving here without you! I promised Aaron that I would bring you back to him. SAFE and Sound. Please, Dom... come with me now."
She extended her right hand in front of him, hoping that Dominique would reach out to her.
He merely looked at her as he hesitated.
"Sabrina, don’t be so stubborn." His lips tugged upward, but his smile didn’t reach his eyes. "Our son doesn’t need me. He already has you... and Vladimir."
Deep down, Dominique had no will to live anymore. He had already given up everything the moment he let her go.
"I don’t need your pity, Sab. You are just making me feel more pathetic. So please, just leave me alone. You can bring Melody with you and her mother. But Alfonso has to stay here with me. This is my last wish, Sab. Please grant it for my sake."
’If she insists on staying, then I have no choice but to knock her down and bring her to a safe area before I bomb this mansion and bury Alfonso’s corpse with me.’ Dominique thought to himself.
With that, he pretended to yield to Sabrina’s request. He moved closer to her, holding his hand.
Sabrina was clueless that he was planning to knock her down, removing her from this dangerous place.
When he was about to strike her on the back of her head, Sabrina uttered some words that made him pause.
"Dom, let’s go home together." There was a trace of relief on her face. "Okay?"
’Home? I have no home to return to, Sab... I–" Dominique felt the lump in his throat. He struggled hard to hold the tears that were threatening to fall.
He looked so miserable right now. Heartbroken, lonely, and devastated. His heart was filled with anger and remorse.
There were many things he wished he hadn’t done. Things might have been different if he had chosen to love Sabrina rather than pursue revenge.
"Sab, I’m beyond saving now..." he said, his voice barely audible.
But Sabrina would never give up on him. She gazed up and cupped his face, allowing him to look straight into her eyes.
"Dominique Smith, you are not allowed to die. I won’t permit you to leave Aaron and me. Not now."
"Why, Sab? Why are you doing this? Do you hate me that much... to the extent that you won’t even permit me to end my misery?"
Sabrina quickly nodded. "Yes, I do hate you, Dom! I really do! But at the same time..."
She paused, taking her moment to muster up her courage so that she could tell him her next words.
Then she continued where she left off, "... my heart is still telling me to save you. Because I don’t want you to die, Dom. I want you to live–"
"I have no reason to live, Sab. So... just let me be..."
Dominique discreetly raised his fist, getting ready to knock her down. But then...
"No. I can’t... because Dom, I think... I still love you!"
His fist stopped mid-air, his eyes widening in utter shock.
’Huh? What did she just say? Did I hear it right, or was it just my imagination?’
Dominique blinked multiple times, his gaze probing hers.
"Come again, Sab? Did you just say–"
"I said I still love you! My heart still has feelings for you! I thought I’d already moved on, and I have forgotten you. But I was wrong. Dom."
He stood frozen in his spot, his mind still absorbing every word she said.
’Sabrina said... she still loves me... still has feelings for me. Is this true? Or she is just doing this mess with my mind...’
Since Sabrina could still see the doubt and uncertainty in Dominique’s eyes, she had no other choice left.
Without hesitation, she tiptoed and pulled his head closer to her as she crashed her mouth into his lips, kissing him passionately!
Dominique’s hand, which was hanging in the air, finally descended, grabbing the back of her head as he began responding to her kiss. He deepened the kiss further, almost sucking the air from her lungs.
He felt like he was dreaming right now. Sabrina confessing her feelings and kissing him... this was so unreal!
If this were a dream, he didn’t wish to wake up. Oh damn! He missed her so much.
The kiss became rougher and more aggressive than before. He held her in place, his lips devouring hers, nibbling and sucking her. He kissed her like there was no tomorrow.
Sabrina just followed his lead, allowing Dominique to dominate her. As he was busy ravaging her lips, her hands moved, attempting to take the detonator from his hand.
His attention was only focused on her... on kissing her, tasting her lips, and sucking her tongue. With that, Sabrina finally succeeded in snatching the detonator from Dominique’s grasp.
