Why the hell did it often feel like the man who just kissed her wasn’t Bai Chenyao?

But other than her and Bai Chenyao, there was no third person in this bedroom!

Thinking back to how Bai Chenyao used to maintain a cold demeanor, his eyes ice-cold even when they were intimate, Tian Tian felt deflated once again.

Just as Tian Tian was reflecting on this, she saw Mrs. Chen entering with a bowl of red date and white fungus soup.

"Sir, Miss Mu!"

Bai Chenyao didn’t even look up, Tian Tian quickly nodded with a smile.

"Mrs. Chen!"

Mrs. Chen walked in with a smile, placing the bowl of soup on the small table in front of Tian Tian and advising with a grin.

"Miss Mu just took her medicine, which must be bitter, drink more of this soup. I’ve added extra brown sugar, Miss Mu is sure to like its sweetness."

Tian Tian did indeed like it. But recalling the bitterness in her mouth being swept away like that by Bai Chenyao, her cheeks reddened, her eyes twinkled, and she nodded smilingly.

"Mrs. Chen, thank you!"

Mrs. Chen smiled back, hurriedly indicating it was her duty, and quickly exited the bedroom.

While drinking the soup, Tian Tian glanced over at Bai Chenyao.

"A Yao, are you going to the company?"

Bai Chenyao did not look up, his voice was indifferent.

"Why?"

Tian Tian took another spoonful of soup, her large, dark eyes blinking.

Not feeling well due to a cold, her cheeks were somewhat pale, looking a bit dull.

"Isn’t handling documents at the company better than at home?"

Bai Chenyao still didn’t look up, quickly reading through the document in his hand, occasionally jotting down something with a pen.

"For me, it’s the same wherever I work!"

Tian Tian: "..."

So, it’s truly to take care of her!

Her heart filled with sweetness, feeling even more sugary than the soup with extra brown sugar, the fading color in her cheeks suddenly brightening quite a bit.

Looking at Bai Chenyao across, then at the appealingly colored soup before her, Tian Tian’s eyes crinkled with a smile as she glanced again at Bai Chenyao.

"A Yao, would you like some? It’s very sweet."

As Bai Chenyao paused slightly while signing, not yet looking up, Tian Tian’s slightly hoarse voice reached his ears again.

"It’s really sweet, perfect for suppressing the bitterness in your mouth!"

Just as Tian Tian finished speaking, she noticed a slight change in Bai Chenyao’s expression, but upon closer inspection, it seemed like an illusion, as if the fleeting deep emotion she saw was all mistaken.

"A Yao?"

After Tian Tian called out, Bai Chenyao lifted his head.

His deep black eyes, quietly gazing through the air at Tian Tian sitting on the bed.

"You drink, I’ll just kiss you!"

Tian Tian: "..."

Her small hand trembled, a spoonful of soup splashed all over the little table.

Luckily her spoon wasn’t lifted high, along with the soup being little, or the quilt on the big bed would have been doomed.

What’s with just kissing her!

But suddenly recalling how twice she had refused to drink the bitter traditional medicine, but Bai Chenyao had insisted, ready to complain, she had been unexpectedly kissed.
